Sherrie Randall – President
Ms. Sherrie N. Randall, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, graduated from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She started her career as a contracting intern in November 2003 at the Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center-East at Fort McPherson, GA where she received extensive training and contracting experience in the Mission and Installation Contracting Command division. Ms. Randall joined the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in June 2009.
Since joining CDC, Ms. Randall has administered and managed over 40 contracts valued at up to $900 million annually. Ms. Randall has also served as a mentor, assisting, reviewing, and awarding procurements processed by other Contract Specialists on her team and within other Office of Acquisition Services branches. In Fiscal Year 2017, she served as the Lead Contracting Officer on a special projects team to award a $45 million, total set aside for Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) to support firm-fixed-price, cost reimbursement and time and material task order contract types. It will serve as a ready source of medical, scientific, administrative and professional, and technical services to support 10 Program Offices within CDC and help the organization accomplish its small business goals. This HUBZone IDIQ contract was the first ever awarded by CDC.
Ms. Randall has served as the Program Committee Chair for three years and currently serves as the Program Committee Co-Chair for the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) local Atlanta chapter. She completed the NCMA Contract Management Leadership Development Program in July 2018 and received the highest honor, the Distinguished Graduate award. Ms. Randall hosted the 2021 NCMA World Congress Conference in Denver, CO and received the NCMA Fellow award, which is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions in the contracting field. She also serves on the NCMA Membership and Engagement Committee at the national level.
Ms. Randall is the recipient of the Office of Financial Resources Employee of the Quarter, October 2017 – December 2017 Award and the Office of Acquisition Services Employee of the Quarter Award, October 2017 – December 2017. She is Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Level III certified and Federal Acquisition Certification Level III certified.
Ms. Randall is very active in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, with the Pi Alpha Omega chapter, and works with the Children’s ministry at Buckhead Church. She also completed the Inspire Atlanta Leadership Program through the Atlanta Women’s Foundation in 2020 and is currently a member of NextOnBoard, which prepares women for senior leadership roles and public and private board service.
Ms. Randall currently resides in Atlanta, GA and believes that a cheerful demeanor and calm professionalism are the keys to success.
Akinwande Oshodi – PRESIDENT ELECT
Akinwande Oshodi (PMP, CISA, CDFM) is the Founder and CEO of The Avery Group, LLC (TAG), a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business aimed at spearheading continuous process improvement, quality assurance, and systems integration projects for a range of Federal clients to include CDC, FDA and the VA.
Akinwande is an accomplished strategic leader who has spent over a decade managing complex projects and implementing enterprise-wide solutions for leaders in Government, Military, Healthcare, IT, and Finance industries. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Akinwande immigrated to Newark, NJ where it was instilled in him that the measure of a man was his ability and determination to succeed. With that mindset, he joined the US Army at the age of 17 to serve his country. Through his military career garnered multiple accolades for his contributions to Operation Iraq Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Akinwande is a graduate of NCMA’s award winning Contract Management Leadership Development Program and has been the Treasurer of NCMA’s Atlanta chapter for the past two years. Akinwande is deeply committed to his community by promoting leadership and mentorship opportunities for African American youth. To this end, Mr. Oshodi is an active member of the 100 Black Men of Greater Washington DC, sits on the board of INROADS Alumni network, and serves on the Finance committee for Brookhaven Innovation Academy. As a collegiate athlete and lifetime basketball enthusiast, Akinwande believes in leveraging athletics and mentorship to encourage accountability, teamwork, and leadership skills among youth. In his free time, Akinwande enjoys crushing the competition at family game night with his wife, Jarell, and their two young children, Avery and Jalen.
Arina Hooks – Secretary
Arina Hooks is the Contract Manager at HD Supply, a subsidiary of The Home Depot, where she oversees HD Supply’s Contract Management team. Her team manages commercial and government contracts from the seller side. During her time at HD Supply, she plays an important role in the integration of The Home Depot Pro and HD Supply. Prior to HD Supply, Arina was a Contract Manager at Cox Automotive. As Arina progressed in her career, she has held numerous roles, all of which have led her to lead or support cross-functional teams.
Arina earned a BS in Marketing from Southern University A&M. The University of Maryland has awarded her an MBA and a Master’s in Management with a concentration in Procurement and Contract Management. She is currently a member of the 2021-2022 NCMA CMLDP program.
Arina was born and raised in Bayou Rapides, Louisiana. She is married with two sons. She has a desire to have a positive impact to teenagers and young professionals. She mentors the local high schools DECA student organizations.
F. NAZIL HILL – TREASURER
F. Nazir Hill serves as the president and chief executive officer at Complete Facility Services, LLC (CFS). Nazir has over 25 years of experience in leadership, finance, and operations.
Nazir sits on numerous boards and committees; he holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Southern University at New Orleans and a finance management certification at Cornell University. Nazir enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He is passionate about exercising, reading, and participating in charitable events.
